Kentish Town Health Centre continues to win the accolades it so rightly deserves and at last weeks Building Better Health 2009 Awards picked up the “Award for Best Primary Care Design” and for his inspirational leadership and considerable effort and determination, Dr Roy Macgregor was awarded “Design Champion of the Year”.

It has been known for sometime that good building design can have a direct impact of the care outcomes for patients. It was with great pride therefore to hear that the unique design of London's premier Health Centre in Kentish Town had been recognised by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) earlier this month and been awarded the RIBA Prize for London and earlier in the year at the national NHS LIFT Awards for best design.

Kentish Town Health Centre won both an RIBA 2009 Award for architectural excellence in the London region at a ceremony held at Westminster Academy on 21 May 2009, and the NHS LIFT Design Award 2009 on the 18th March at the Hilton Hotel, London

NHS Camden’s new flagship health facility, Kentish Town Health Centre (KTHC), was recognised for its outstanding design at the prestigious LIFT 2009 awards on 18 March.
